Show Chris some love in the comments please, he was extremely nervous but overcame the nerves because he really wanted to be part of the streaming PC build. Also please note I wasn’t quite ready to start this build, but we bumped it up due to the timing for Chris's holiday.

Quite a few changes will be made to the final build which I’ll cover in the first stream, hopefully in a week or two. A few things to note:

- The PCIe riser cable didn’t work, Windows loaded just fine, the Superposition benchmark ran without issue, but modern games would crash the second the menu screen was loaded. Removing the riser solved that and the system was 100% stable.
- The DDR5-6000 worked just fine with four modules at the 6000 speed, so no issues there.
- Initially I planned on using a USB capture device but I’ll probably replace the RTX 3060 with a PCIe capture card such as the AVerMedia Live Gamer DUO (GC570D) and go with the 12700K for the iGPU.

Chris seems like a really great guy to be gaming with. The nerves of handling gear that feels priced way out of your league is all too relatable with GPU pricing, even standard deep cleaning and minor updates like new drives over the last few years has had me shaking. One slip up and who knows when the PC will be able to get used again 😂
