Glad you had the insurance. It’s an experienced drone pilot I would say that almost all crashes are due to flying into stuff sideways or backwards.

Excellent. I’ve had mine 3 years now. I got the insurance too but never used it, despite having some really close calls! Having crash avoidance on has saved me several times too but I’ve zipped past powerlines a couple of times!
