Billy Zane as The Phantom, John Wesley Shipp as the Flash from the 90s TV show, Brandon Lee as the Crow, Liam Neeson as Darkman, Scarlett Johanneson as Black Widow, Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau (Photon) and Hayley Atwell as Captain Carter also sported great attires.

You need a "Part 2" list. Not only does the response from @stryfespoint304 have some great suggestions, but I think that there's much to be said for Billy Campbell's outfit as The Rocketeer, which was accurate & cinematic, and Jackie Earle Haley's costume for Rorschach in Watchmen was particularly on-point.

So excited for the James Gunn Superman because it looks absolutely amazing, but I'd say I'd also put the Brandon Routh on par with the Christopher Reeves. It's just as good in the context of when they came out.

Dr. Fates costume is gorgeous. I love Christopher Reeve as Clark, but I did not believe him as Superman. part of it was the suit; he just doesn’t look strong enough. Henry Cavill’s suit is way superior. Also, Michael Keaton’s Batman suit is better than the garbage worn by Ben Affleck. I know tastes are subjective, but it’s like you purposely pick the dumbest looking ones for some of these. I mean Ben Affleck…
