She just looks so incredibly sad and in pain which is completely understandable given her loss. She only lights up when talking about her daughter, you can tell how much she loves her. My heart goes out to her

I know people are disturbed by this interview but this is the reality of loss and grief and attempting to navigate a new life without your loved one in it. It’s hard. I’ve been going thru the same thing the past 5 years. I lost my sister on September 29, 2019 and it hasn’t gotten any easier. I still cry at the very mention of her name. But I know the one thing she’d want me to do is pull thru. And I’m trying my best. This seems like Hayden just took a bit more of a relaxer than she should have. But she’s 100% coherent and articulate. She’s not stumbling over her words or stuttering like an inebriated person would. She was most likely nervous to do the interview and took a bit more of a relaxer than necessary, like I said. She looks fine in the photos with her trainer, etc. My heart goes out to her. She was so very brave to do this. Pull thru, girl.

People Mag knew exactly what they were doing posting this interview. They knew people would comment and it would generate attention. Kudos to her for speaking candidly about grief and how it impacts our mind, body, and soul.

Everybody saying they should take this down but this is one of the most honest things I’ve ever seen. Grief is hard, her co-parenting situation has been hard, the way the industry has treated her has been Hard. Seeing her being any level of functional after all of that is incredible. Her smile when she’s exercising or talking about her daughter is So Beautiful! There is life after the storms! Stay strong Hayden! I’m so Proud of You!❤❤❤

She looks like she's carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders, like a completely different person.
I hope she recovers, and may her brother rest in peace 🙏

She’s actually quite eloquent here. She doesn’t seem unwell beyond being heartbroken and grief-stricken. Maybe she’s medicated but who could blame her..?
Life is so hard for so many. If it isn’t for you, realize you are among THE most blessed.

I lost my little sister in March 2024, the grief is unbelievable and overwhelming and I still find it hard to leave the house. She sounds as sad as I feel. Sending Love🙏🏾

This lady is actually an inspiration. She's had long term post natal depression and is grieving her brother's untimely death and she's still here looking beautiful and not giving up.

I hope she is okay I genuinely do because she's been through so much but she looks like she is heavily medicated.

This is heartbreaking.
My heart goes out to her.
This video should not be here PEOPLE magazine.
She is obviously under the influence of some sort of medication.
She has a young daughter.
Have some compassion, sad as it is, she’s going to get horrific backlash from this.

You can hear the heartbreak still in her voice. Heartbreaking ❤

She’s incredibly articulate and vulnerable in this interview and I don’t see anything wrong with it. She maybe on antidepressants or anxiety medication which could have caused a slight flat affect in the beginning of the interview. She’s a brave woman for even agreeing to speak on such difficult topics.

I went through years where I struggled with PTSD and depression and stayed indoors the entire time. What contributed to her grief/depression and mine are completely different but on an emotional level she's reminding me of the space I was existing in. Please have compassion for her.

For people judging the way Hayden is speaking, I want to say that this is what profound grief looks like and sounds like. I lost my little brother, then four years later I lost my only son. My voice normally sounds happily animated, but when I speak seriously about my overwhelming losses, I sound just like she is during this interview. And no, I am not on medication. Grief sucks everything out of you. My heart goes out to her. Please don’t judge.

One year is not very long babe. I lost my brother to heroine and it took me 6 years to fully grieve him. The first year is shock. Second year is accepting your new reality. The rest is slowly relearning how to live without them.

Everyone grieves at their own pace. You just have to make sure you're feeling it when you're ready to. Don't get addicted to drugs. Your dreams will be your way of seeing him and the drugs can put those dreams on pause.

Unfortunately the silver lining is that being high in this video is what will bring more people to see it and many people need to know that they are not alone. This is the reality of grief.

This was very real, raw, and relatable. If she was medicated so what. I love her even more for being this vulnerable and I’m glad she shared a bit of herself with the world.

She looks and sounds just like I did when I was heavily medicated on psych drugs trying to deal with ptsd and grief. I'm grateful I'm on the other side of all that now and off of all the psych meds. I hope she finds her way.

She looks so broken 💔 sounds so broken 💔 I CANNOT Imagine! I ONLY Have my brother and I could NEVER Imagine Her Pain ..But At the same time putting myself in her shoes just breaks my soul for her!
I pray for her heart and soul and healing and her family! May she find peace away from the public eye and get some peace in privacy, like everyone deserves 🕊️

I've been where she is. As an addict, a mother, and a widow. The pain associated with loss is real. The urge to numb yourself is the hardest thing to get over. I just didnt want to feel. She simply looks exhausted and drained. And talking about these things has to be so difficult. I'm proud of her. She has been through a lot and with a lot of people watching.
