In this video I demonstrate how to create a route and use the autopilot to navigate to and along the route.
I also make use of a temporary waypoint to navigate around a submerged wreck.

Autopilot modes:
A - Heading Hold, maintains a compass heading, course may change
Nd- No Drift, maintains a GPS course, heading may change
N - Navigation, is used when navigating to an active waypoint or routepoint
W - Wind, maintains a wind angle, heading and course may change
Wn - Wind Navigation, uses laylines to navigate to an active waypoint or routepoint
Follow Up - maintains a rudder angle

To create a temporary active waypoint to navigate to:
Place the cursor at the desired location then select
Menu, Go To, Go To Cursor

Thanks for the video. Long story short, we had a lightning strike about 7 -8 months and replaced all
our eletronics with B&G. Could you do a video on best use of Sailsteer.

why don’t you use red Standby option to temporarily stop autopilot?

Thanks for the informative video. Do you have experience/video downloading PredictWind routing or GRIBs to B and G via Iridium Go?

Would you recommend the Lagoon 420 for Atlantic Crossing? (Specifically Med., Bahamas, etc)

Been searching for a Catamaran suitable for 2-3, not huge, but not cramped either. I've found a Lagoon 420 for a decent price but haven't seen many Ocean Crossings on one. I know the 440 is a capable vessel; would 2 feet really make a difference?
