It took me about 2 hours to make this where I live. My land around here is like natural concrete. Crazy hard to dig in. Nice video showing a good skill.

When i make these, i first take a stake about 3 inches wide and pound 3 holes into earth at about 45 degree angle that meet in the center then just dig one hole in the center... It also helps if you make another stake thats around an inch wide and make a bunch of hole in the bottom of your pit. This allows ash and small coals to collect and lets the fire breath much better

That works just like a rocket stove, but with the benefit of not having to carry it around with you. Using a gardener's scoop would be perfect for digging these holes.

Anyone have any success doing this in sand? I’m in Florida and have enough trouble digging a hole, much less a tunnel.
