The whole 'you wanna go this route?' crap irritates me. Cops who don't get their way always see people standing up for themselves as being obstructive or difficult when it isn't. All they have to do is use common sense most of the time and the problem suddenly isn't a problem any more. Learning about the laws and constitution they are supposed to uphold would be a great start.

I love when cops try to pretend that a call from some concerned neighbor equates to probable cause. They have to establish that when they arrive, and until they do, they don't have enough to demand you ID.

The “making it difficult” part is what they will do to your life when they get your ID and write a false narrative in their system about you and trespass you from a place you are legally allowed to be as they say “we’ll let the court decide” about this legal circumstance.

He went down as a legend for knowing that a lock, drilled from the inside of the house means that the house was not being broken into. This man totally changed the detective game
