BMW driver is DUMB !! X3 in FLOOD Rufford Ford

Cars and other vehicles driving through Flooded fords in the UK.

Rufford ford is the place where the most cars fail in water. However this has recently been shut due to drivers causing a danger to others. ( see my other videos)

This is Trescott Ford in Staffordshire.

As the water gets deeper during the winter we will see far more fails...

If he goes slowly and the water doesn't go to the air filter, everything is alright, and this isn't Rufford Ford, so you may correct your coments.

My mechanic friend was changing a gearbox one day at his garage and i popped in as he was changing it to have him look at my car. The gearbox hewas changing had fecked up cos the owner drove through a ford months earlier. So bear in mind that driving through floods can kill your gearbox as they have breather pipes. Its not just the air intake thats vulnerable. I never ever thought about gearboxs having breather pipes.

To be fair you can tell that isn’t his car. You can tell he doesn’t normally drive a BMW. How do I know? Because at the end of the video you see him using his indicators.

Those bmws have a wading depth of 0.5m which is rougly the height of the bottom of the lights/top of the wheels. This is fine.

It doesn't matter what car did it. Good and that they are good manufacturers. The only problem reckless drivers speed through the water so that it fills up with more water in it. If you go slow in the water it takes less water in its engine and you won't have problems boom big brain 🧠
