1-Use citrus fruits sparingly, worms really don’t care for them and can potentially kill them
2-Worms love…LOVE…shredded cardboard
3-maintaining humidity is very important. Best solution stacks of cardboard circles to cover the top layer of dirt. Fully sealing the top can lead to weird smells
4-the compost can be soaked in water to make “worm tea” and excellent liquid fertilizer

The nasty liquid that collects in the bottom layer smells like hell but it's like plant crack. If you have a veggie garden you'll notice a huge difference if you add some to the roots when you water
