*Totally impressive **Fastly.Cool** in my room. Wish I designed this myself. We can’t believe how quiet it is. It’s not as heavy as our last AC unit but it works more evenly and efficiently. Extremely happy with this purchase.*

I wish you had this video years ago because your window has the same protrusion at the bottom like mine does. I never knew how to properly install my ACs because none of the other tutorials out there deal with this type of window frame. I always end up placing the AC bottom on the inside instead of the outside and the AC is always heavily tilted downward at the back. Now I know better! Thank you!

The condensation drain seems to be too close to the front of the unit so water drips into the window sill and drains inside the outside wall. It would be nice if that didn’t do that

There seems to be some internal packaging with the unit, large chunks of styrofoam etc. Are these supposed to be left inside or do we need to take the unit apart before activating?

Can someone help me?

Anytime it rains, water seeps into the unit and then drips into the house! Are these units supposed to have covers over their exposed exterior?

Dang it. I live in a house with my mom and my sister and we're dying in this heat. My MOBILE HOME window has metal-type window frames instead of wood... but the curtain panels are supposed to screw into them somehow? Wouldn't I end up cracking the medal or glass?? How I'm I supposed to do this?
I probably can screw in the bottom 2 screws because they're facing downward into the wooden sill, but what about the top 2 screws!? How do I secure them so bugs don't get into the house from the top of them?

Can anyone watching this help me out. I have this exact window unit. My problem is when the outside temperature is at 55F or colder then the compressor never kicks on which means it only blows warmish air. My brother has the same exact model (we bought and installed the same time) and his blows nice cold air all the time, even when the outside temp is below 55F. So, for example, I have my window unit set on low speed and the coldest setting, but its 54F degrees outside. It just blows warm air. But, after 20 minutes the outside temp warms to 56F degrees, you hear the compressor kick on and voila the unit is blowing nice cold air. It's driving me crazy bc I have no idea what to do about it
