I didn't process that Matt is going to be mostly gone soon. He released his goodbye internet video a few days after my husband (who made fun of me for watching the channels) passed and having Matt still here has made it oddly enough feel like my husband isn't fully gone. It's so weird that my brain made a connections between the two but it just makes him leaving and getting so emotional even more emotional for me 😢

Seeing Mat cry honestly hurts me, seeing the people who I’ve been watching ever since I was like 4, crying, it makes me feel so hurt, but not in a bad way, it’s just sad, seeing them sad, hurt, or leaving, but at least we’ll all have their old videos, the ones we first saw, the ones that made us feel differently, the ones that brought us together as a community.

Never thought that Mat leaving GTLive is going to hurt way more than him stepping down from the other channel hosts.
The past nearly 10 years I've watched this channel religiously, growing up with the more laid back content of him and steph (not to forget jason and skip!) sitting on the couch to now him and ash top tier banter, its just gonna sting when he's gone.
