How do we go about finding prospects?

For example: I know my niche and sub niche I want to work in (I have a lot of experience in the field) but don't know what I'm doing when it comes to prospecting. I use GPT and some of my own knowledge to come up with keywords to search on instagram, yt, and Facebook, but the majority of accounts that I find are 10 follower accounts. In the middle range, I find the sweet spot 5-10k accounts (damn... they haven't posted in 3 years). Then my final search results are high follower accounts from highly established companies who I am WAY too unexperienced to outreach to (if I can't see a gap, no point trying to fill it right?).

So what do? How can I go about actually FINDING businesses to outreach to? I've sent around 40 and it already feels like I've run out of businesses.

I'm looking into starting copywriting, but all these videos claiming you can make consistent money from it, i'm a little bit skeptical. I feel like you need to do a writing course before becoming a copywriter. How on earth do you make hundreds a day doing this? I would need a consistent income copywriting to be able to do it full time... does anyone make any real money doing this? Or is this a too good to be true situation? Confused!
