Hey I've been reading all the comments here and doing more research, as soon as Fay Dalton and WOTC comment on this, expect a deep dive follow up.

I've been dreaming of getting this job for 13 years, and seeing, at this point, at least 3 artists get and throw away this job by doing stuff like this is insane to me... As an artist I can confirm that doing this can't be an accident, if those excuses come up, and if it was found out this one time, it happened before, for sure.

I think this person is not a artist, they just frankenstein other peoples work in photoshop. Every hour reddit detectives find more and more of her content just straight up stolen.

You need to look up old illustrators from the 40's through 70's era... Her art on her website is direct rips of those illustrators. Classic cheese cake pinup artist to Pulp anthology cover artists. ALL of her work are rips. I own the damned books from the originals artists, they are WAY too close to those artists to be a coincidence.

Absolutely gross that people are doing this and getting work by photoshopping other artists art and selling it as "original".

Deadlines are insane, and a lot of artists take on multiple commissions to make ends meet. She was doing a process that many digital artists do to save time, unfortunately her paint over wasn’t good enough to cover her process

I'm certain that this artist is using AI. The AI borrows pictures that it finds online from a lot of different places and it's making more cases of this pop up all the time. A lot of painters don't want to admit that they're using AI to create templates. The use of AI to make the template for a painting is kind of getting exposed by the fact that people are picking out exact instances of it.

This is a very fair-minded video about this situation, and I think this video should be admitted as evidence in the case. Can you please do a follow-up video about the other artists besides Donato that Fay Dalton is accused of stealing from in this case?

I dunno why the person contacting their lawyers would publicly post a out it. Generally it isnt best practice to air out dirty laundry like that, unless a judge as already had made a judgement. Feels like they are trying to smear anothers name, while using the public to gang up.
They do look very similar; pose, angle and colours, but without overlaying them on top, it looks like a callback or tribute to that picture. Just side by side, I can not tell.

Trouble in pairs is more than just one artist ripped off in the same painting. If you look at the artwork of Will Hulsey, you will find the man in artwork as an escaped prisoner holding a woman captive. I reported this to WotC.

Not similar enough to be a direct copy imo. Inspiration as an argument wins this case
