This song fits them for seasons 4 and 5 really well. Both of them lost control of themselves in these seasons (even if Kai’s was only for a brief time) and probably felt guilt over it, especially when they started hurting the other one. I can’t imagine how that must’ve felt, for both Kai AND Lloyd, when he lost control in season 4, and how much more scary that would’ve made it for both in season 5 when Morro possessed Lloyd because they would both have flashbacks to season 4.

Seriously, Lego has done a phenomenal job with these two. Their friendship might not be quite as obvious as say, Cole and Jay, because unlike them, Kai and Lloyd have never called each other their best friend out loud before.
But the thing is, they don’t need to. You can see it all through their looks and actions how much they love and care about each other. I think that makes them really powerful, and, in my opinion, the best friendship in the show.

Ok so this is absolutely amazing it really shows their relationship they'd do anything for eachother and I'm just so sad because all of that is gone in the newer seasons Kai is an arrogant ass hole again and their bond is pretty much gone it's like everything just reset the fact that Kai wasnt the first person to place his hand on Lloyd and say we'll do it breaks my heart instead he was the last one if you dont believe me name ONE GREENFLAME MOMENT IN SEASON 8-15 JUST ONE I'm waiting (Also they only use older season moments even more proof that the beautiful thing they had is gone) Kai promised to protect Lloyd he promised.. WELL WHY DID HE DOUBT SAVING HIM THEN I know I'm overreacting but this just breaks my heart
