God I LOVE offseason hope in their knowitall voices and when they ultimately have to admit to being wrong on this one.

These guys don't really know the Chiefs that well and made errors in this segment. DS wore number 49 not 47....no big deal. DK played right tackle at Kentucky not guard and was considered a very good player in the SEC. In addition, the Chiefs will likely start Andrew Wylie at right tackle and not the rookie if they don't feel he's ready yet.

Wylie played respectably when Lucas Niang went down last year. The Chiefs O-line will be a top 5 unit this year, so I don't understand why these guys are so concerned about RT.

The rookie they referred to is a safety named Bryan Cook, not Bryan Moore. On defense, the Chiefs drafted a bunch of athletic, fast, hard hitting and good tackling players. Their defense will actually be better this year. They have the best player on the planet, a terrific coach who has won at least 12 games every year with number 15. I'm going over 10.5 without much of a thought.

Cherry picking stats is what casual talking heads do. The 5 best parts of the Chiefs was not mentioned. REID, MAHOMES, THE OLINE, VEACH, and KELCE. Naing was talked about, but his replacement doing a good job was not.
Reid and Mahomes is why the Chiefs went to 4 straight AFC Championship games, and hosted all of them. Other AFC west teams are good on paper, but reality is, the coaches are bad or unproven.
