I just got the 2 CD set for this it is nicely packaged. I am looking forward to Monday as I ordered all the parts for an Atmos / DTS system for my music room in what used to be my wife's office. She enjoyed reading in there while I was working so it already has a nice very comfy chair so I will enjoy listening there and thinking of her.

Listening to my 2 CD set again this afternoon for the umpteenth time, and I can't get over how fantastic the Paul Hicks remix sounds. My original vinyl copy that I bought as a lad in the late 70's is now consigned to retirement on my record racks, alongside my 2006 and 2014 re issues. It just sounds amazing, I'm hearing so much I wasn't aware was on each track, that was previously buried in that murky 1973 mix, bit like John's Mind Games from the same year. What puzzles me is how Band On The Run came from the same era, but I don't recall the original mix sounding murky like John or George's albums. I have just recently upgraded my CD Player, and this has also enhanced what is already a listening pleasure with this album. Having seen your review of the box set I can only reiterate what I said in the comments to Beatley Tone's unboxing vid and that is the Harrison Estate have truly surpassed themselves with the quality of this set, and this should be the benchmark for all future box sets, by every artist, not just the Fabs. As a collector and fan who buys both vinyl and Cd to have both combined in one box is manna from heaven. Going by my 2 CD's, my 2LP's will sound even more fab (when they get here). And I'm now tempted to put in an order for the box now...

Thanks Andrew. I'm drooling! Amazon UK informs me my copy is dispatched, arriving Monday, and that I saved 10 quid by pre-ordering some time ago.
When I first bought this album, I had a row with my dad. His argument was that Harrison goes on about living in a material world, but is not adverse to raking in the money for the record sales, etc, I defended George and it ended up with my dad and I not talking for a bit. Then I remembered "Isn't It A Pity", then we were OK again. He didn't criticise my music after that and I kept silent when he played Mantovani! 😁 When I play Material World this time, only the neighbours will hear it, blasting out in Dolby Atmos!!!! 🕉️
