And while plenty of people are trying really hard to expand their vocal range, there are plenty of people who are failing, and some singers are even damaging their voices in the attempt. So, in this video, I’m going to teach you how to expand your vocal range safely.

Don't worry Basses and Baritones, your head voice/Falsetto is stronger than that of a tenor, train that and you'll have stronger and higher notes than a tenor.

Everyone wants to sing higher ? Maybe. Personally I'd like to extend BOTH ends. Unsure if anyone can achieve both Basso Profuondo and Soprano though. May be stuck with the one octave I have.

PS wish I could lip bubble/trill. Hardly get a success ever. Think I must have solid lips.

How should singing high feel? Should the tension only be felt on the vocal cords?

Hi Dr Dan I’m a female and I can sing to D3 and I was thinking if that’s average even for the contraltos or if it’s lower than the average

Hi there Dr Dan...thank you very much for for uploading this video....it was very helpful...I just wanna know if u can help to give a video reaction to one of my favorite artist, David Archuleta...because I really wanna be able to sing my high notes without really using my falsetto/head voice much and also to belt my notes especially the high ones like him....even though as u said in this video...."everybody's voice is different/unique"...but I'm sure there's a way where we can achieve the possibility of learning how to sing in that same technique....ive always admired how David sings his songs and the fact of how he can sing his high notes without even using his head voice most of the time....id really appreciate it if u could react to one of his songs or covers and just explained how its done...Thanks Dr Dan

big fan, i have a question tho, i’ve developed my chest voice quite a bit but how do i know when to start moving on to using head voice? they say that if you start using head voice too early you could potentially lose notes on your chest. so how do i know when i’m ready ? i’ve expanded my chest far enough to where i’m almost in a mix voice at high notes.

Could you explain how this helps extend your range please, I am a little confused as to how it increases the range of my mixed voice as you seem to transition into head voice(?) Thanks
