I think Lisa found out that pieces of history can still be stored in books even when reality is partially overwritten by irminsul. That "fiction" isn't as fictional as people were led to believe, and that is why she takes her duties as a librarian so seriously. Because she is guarding pieces of history that were otherwise overwritten and phased out of reality. So, even though most people see it as taking it easy and mostly slacking off, she is just being more clever to keep from notice about what she really is doing.

She probably found out that allogenes with a vision who fulfill their ambition are then used(not in a nice way) by Celestia to heal Phanes.

there's two things about Lisa that have DRASTICALLY changed how we should look at her with 1) the releases of Alhaitham and Kaveh and 2) Neuvillette's Vision story.
1) We knew she was exceptional at the Akademiya before Sumeru's release, but we now know that Alhaitham and Kaveh both were considered insanely talented geniuses during their time as students. We know from direct interactions how insanely smart and capable they are. And for Lisa to be ABOVE both of them? Is quite frankly mind-blowing.
2) After finishing the Fontaine Archon Quest, we can read in Neuvillette's Vision Story how the Gnoses were made, but also how the *Vision distribution* works. I have a feeling that Lisa found out about the following from his Vision story: "And when one so gifted completed their duty... the gift the gods would receive in return would be more abundant still." I think Lisa discovered what actually happens, and has been laying down low ever since to make sure she 'doesn't complete her duty' and thus doesn't trigger this part of the system.

At this point we can only make assumptions, but some lore bits might give us some clues.

Regarding the type of knowledge she might have come across by studying the Elements with her Vision's help:

1) La Signora was in the same academic department as Lisa and Cyno, she studied some forbidden Elemental arts, and yet it didn't frighten her as much as what Lisa discovered. So we can assume that Lisa's discovery is beyond the "forbidden" tier, i.e it's either about the Truth of Teyvat, Celestia, the Abyss, the Descenders, or outer-Teyvat beings (Skirk, Surtalogi, etc). But whatever it is, it could be enough to mean great destruction or horrible death for those who discover it.

2) Though Lisa has no feat, there's a lore bit about her that should be graded WAAAAY higher than whatever most characters have done so far: Lisa was literally *INVITED* to join the freaking HEXENZIRKLE! Not as someone's apprentice, not as a placeholder for a dead master... she was asked to have her own seat at the table. And, what's more disturbing, she REJECTED them, saying it wasn't her style.
Now, we all know that the Hexenzirkle's witches fields of activity are never normal day-to-day fields. The Primordial Human (Gold), the Irminsul (Nicole), Teyvat's Fate (Barbelotte), Teyvat's borders (Alice)... all these fields are in direct touch with the Truth about Teyvat, Celestia and Genshin's cosmogony.
So there could be only one reason for Lisa to be directly invited by the Hexenzirkle even though she's so young and got no feats (apart from her thrashing academic records): the Hexenzirkle knows that Lisa discovered something beyond common mortals' understanding; they know it's something about the Truth of Teyvat and it's on the same level of the fields they're all taking care of; they know that whatever Lisa discovered belongs to a field (an aspect of Truth) that none of them are studying or pursuing (hence why they need a new Witch to study it, instead of an apprentice like Mona).


Regarding the reason why she left the academy after only two years even though she was at her peak, I've two speculations (both backed up by in-game material):

1) After her frightening discovery, she wanted to lay low. If whatever she found in her research involved Celestia, then maybe she feared that Celestia noticed she found something she shouldn't have. Orobashi's story tells us that Celestia somehow managed to learn about him reading "Before Sun and Moon", and chose to send him attack Inazuma so Raiden would execute him.
Maybe Lisa feared something along those lines might happen to her (the gods are supposed to be omniscient, no?), so she decided to retire and give up on her future incredible fame. In her final ascension voiceline, she says she has told us many times she was actively hiding who she is and what she's capable of. But why would she be hiding and from whom she's hiding, she doesn't tell.

2) Maybe she noticed that something was wrong about Azar and the sages a while ago, either knew she couldn't do anything about it or had foreseen that the Dendro Archon would finally decide to act as she would not be really pleased, and so she left before the big thing happened.
Lisa says she saw hunger for knowledge drive people crazy, so she didn't want to follow that example. And the Sages plan was nothing short of delusional intellectual gluttony, so maybe that's what she refers to by saying that. Also, Cyno's story says he noticed something was wrong with the Akademiya and the researchers when he became a matra (ie when he geaduated, the same year as Lisa). As smarter and more cunning than him as she is, we could very well picture Lisa noticing something off. The fear her research struck inside her would just be the last push she needed to make her mind up and leave.

Now that we know how visions are granted, Lisa may have discovered it too. Understanding that having vision is a Greek gift. The power that the allogen gains, doubles the power that Celestia has over Teyvat. Plus, she may have discovered what Azar and the sages were doing to Nahida. Because Shouki no Kami certainly wasn't built overnight. Dottore should have been working with them for several years.

I'm really Lisa's stan and i need more info about her. She is really powerful and i really impressed how on the start of the game when Mondstadt faced disasters for Jean was enough to calm down Lisa's words what she is here and will do everything in her powers. It's one of reasons why I think what Lisa Minci alone was pretty able to deal with crisis. She have power, but she don't want to use it. But save Mondstadt, this beautiful paradise of freedom, it's what could make her to do it

Lisa's story was something I was excited the most about Sumeru and nothing happened. We're halfway in Fontaine and still nothing. This is so tiresome.

i definitely think it has more to do with these couple things. 1: neuvillette confirmed that visions don't come from the archons, but from Celestia. 2: this makes it seem more like Celestia realized the danger lisa posed, and did everything they could to slip her a vision at the right time before she learned the truth about them, so now she's under their control. 3: mona's line about lisa explains a lot. "A Tempus Fugit... The constellation derives its name from the hourglass, and stands for knowledge and time — or rather, the trade-off between them. As each grain of sand falls down, a moment of time — of life, even, dies for good. To stop the unrelenting flow of sand, one would have to turn the hourglass on its side. But once the sand comes to rest, it remains motionless forever... Hmm, maybe "becomes lazy" is more accurate than "comes to rest, " in this case."
