Crisis on Infinite Earths was a story that came out in the 80s and has had various iterations since then. Credited as being the first major comic book crossover, its gone down in history.

And yes, I mispronounced Pariah at first, I corrected episode 2 and onward when we did this series.

I dont normally put these out so close to when I covered the story. I feel like it kind of cannibalizes my own audience as now you have no reason to watch the previous vids. But I also feel with this one, I wont have anything else to promote after CW Ends this event lol, so figured. Its now or never. Basically, dont expect Complete Stories to drop this fast regularly, I like building the hype with weekly episodes.

While the CW COIE is obviously different than the original comic but I like how they somewhat kept the story structure of it. You can roughly correspond the episodes like this:
Part 1 & Part 2: From 0:48
Part 3: From 29:55
Based on the promos, Part 4 will likely roughly follow from 54:55 and Part 5 will be from 58:45
I hope the CW COIE event create more public interest in the story and get a more accurate animated adaptation greenlit

I just read this recently and HOLY COW. It's a lot to take in and I would not recommend reading this in one sitting. While I don't think you need to know everything about the DCU before this, it may be a good idea to do some research on who's who even though some characters get a very minor cameo appearance. The story does a good enough job telling you who these characters are and why you should care for them. It's just the story is so dense and jumps from one point to another to showcase how big this story is, it's hard to keep track.

That being said, this is still a story that hasn't been surpass by any other comic event since in terms of epicenes, by both Marvel and DC themselves. And I highly recommend it to any comic or superhero fan.
