It’s FRICKIN bats. I love Halloween.

In today’s tutorial, I’ll show you how to “reverse tie dye” clothing using bleach spray! I used a black sweater for my project because bleach spray will go more of an orange tone on black fabrics, and I wanted to create a fall/halloween themed sweater. But you can use bleach spray on whatever colored clothing you like! You’ll have the most contrasting best results on darker colors.

Please note that some fabrics take to bleach much better than others - my first attempt at this project was a complete failure because I tried to bleach a polyester sweater and learned the hard way that polyester is incredibly bleach resistant. The color did not budge! But when I tried it on cotton, I got the results I was looking for. So make sure your piece of clothing is made out of a material that lifts well with bleach!
