Hello Wayne. Awhile ago you had the link for the R2D2 for a link to order some metal screws for the dome instead of using the plastic screws. Do you still have that link for Amazon? Thank you

So the feet are fixed in place on this build? Bugga. My son has one of those remote control R2D2s you could get from the toy shops a few years ago for a hefty price, which is the same size as the Deag one I believe, but it's legs are fully articulated including at the foot joins. It can mimic various movements that the onscreen R2 did. Just a shame that it looks like plastic instead of having a chrome dome like yours. Also it doesn't have the lightsaber compartment and only projects a static image of the princess onto the wall. Plus it's got extremely noisy motors in the thing whenever the dome moves or the legs move. He loves it though. Never plays with it, just has it sitting on a shelf looking at his bed. I think the noise it makes is a bit much for the enhanced hearing abilities thanks to his Autism. But he would never part with it. :)

Wayne, I think that you may have used the wrong screws for this. If the parts you assembled are metal, like they were on the other two legs, you should have used silver screws. The black screws are self tappers for plastic parts.
