These Clones are WEIRD...

Hello there! Star Wars The Bad Batch Season 2 just gave us Gungi and the Wookies vs Trandoshans on Kashyyyk, in addition to Clones! However, some of the clone troopers have different blasters and visors. Let's take a look!

From what I've heard, blue blaster bolts are from refined tibanna gas, while red ones are from unrefined tibanna gas, so maybe it's an indication that the Empire's gradually starting to cheap out on their army.

It could be an animation error. Or they're phasing out blue blasters for red since that's what the empire uses. Keep the blues while they still work, then replace them with red.

I like how the Empire is using the Trandoshans as a proxy against the wookies, with only a few troopers to maybe keep them in line.

Anyone remember in tcw when half of Hondo's pirates just started using blue bolts while fighting the other half who had sided with Maul? Or when the mandalorians just randomly stopped using their yellow bolts and adopted red and blue ones? Moments like these happen from a mixture of animation errors and an attempt to tell you who are the good guys and who the bad guys.

Blue as they had an ion charge to be effective against droids, now they don't need that so it's red.

Considering that the Trandoshans were using AATs branded with an Imperial insignia, I would imagine that the Empire was consolidating resources by using weaponry and power packs left over from the now-deactivated droid armies, since the CIS was in the middle of invading Kashyyyk at the end of the Clone Wars.

What’s going on by Disney Canon is that the DC15s are being transferred from Ionized blue bolts to red ones.
The reason why blue bolts are blue are like ion blasts, they disable droids better.
The red ones are just basic. Ig

I think this shows that the empire is gradually switching from ionized tibanna gas to regular red tibanna gas. Red is cheaper and still almost just as deadly

The Kaminoans sourced all of the clone weapons and gear themselves including the Tibana has that fueled their blasters. So it makes sense that now that they’re gone the empire is switching the clones weapons to the standard gas that makes red blaster bolts.

I noticed this too! Once I saw the red I immediately started watching closely and was very confused when it turned out to be blue again in the next frame 🤨

always the fan base creating theory’s, it’s a error mistake basically, I even remember when I bought the Lego AAT tank set (75283) with Ashoka & one of her clone starts shooting red blaster bolt, it’s a error
