It's important to have a way of dealing with suicidal thoughts. Roughly 1 in 3 therapy clients who present to a psychology practice with distress will experience some suicidal ideation at different points throughout their illness.
One of the greatest issues with being suicidal is that significant distress can distort our thinking. It is therefore important to reach out to someone and not sit alone with your distress.
