Thank you for your video. I was having difficulty attaching my audio bracket till I watched your attaching chapter a few times till I got my bracket to click in place. The trick that I found was I needed to press in on that release lever before it clicked in finally. Thank you once again for a informative video.

Great Video, I think you convinced me to buy the SmallRig cage. If I want to use a shotgun mic, do I need the audio adapter? Have you used a shotgun mic? I am concerned that it will be visible in the shot. Suggestions? Thanks....

Owned 3 gopros and first time I discovered the right way to open the battery cage.

Decent vid but you did not demonstrate the cold shoe usage. I just received a SmallRig Hero12 cage with the intent of using it with the GoPro Light Mod LED light. Unfortunately, the cold shoe on the cage does not provide a snug fit for the Light Mod and it would just fall out. The little tension pad on the bottom of the Light Mod is fine for the GoPro adapter that it ships with but I don't see any way to make it work with the much looser cold shoe on the SmallRig cage.

How did you get a GoPro with good audio from the internal microphone? Mine sounds like absolute garbage and the Media mod is equally as bad. Plus it doesn't work anymore for whatever reason.
