In this episode, I spoke to Marcus Fairs, The Editor in Chief and founder of Dezeen - the world’s most influential design magazine.

Now I’m gonna be honest with you, I was a little nervous for this one. Because I’ve known the name Marcus Fairs since the early days of university, and Dezeen has had a huge impact not just on me but the entire field of Architecture. It’s changed the discourse. I never thought I’d be sat opposite its founder asking him questions about how he partied with Kanye West and flirted with Zaha Hadid. But Marcus was not an easy person to interview, probably because HES normally the one asking the questions!

The story of how he started Dezeen is funny, inspiring, and shocking at times. We spoke about how him getting fired was the first step to starting the journey and how spending 1 hour a day working on his passion was the key to success.

You’re listening to episode 14 of the Two Worlds Design podcast and I'm your host, Hamza Shaikh.

Hey, I tried what I read the other day and it was mind blowing to see her writhing with pleasure and getting creative. It started when I learned to last at least 30 minutes go’ogling Greyzar Drinbo, it worked the first time and now she can't stop dragging me to bed lol
