Hey kintips i had the same problem with my hp computer installing a large gpu with the usb connector being under the gpu what i done to go around the issue was to order a usb 3 extension cable so you can route the cable under the gou hope this helps keep up the great work

How about adding a PCI-E riser? Seems there a few slots below the motherboard.

Oh man, this system is a pain to work in. Installed an MSI 750 TI, which just barely fit. Had to order a USB 3.0 extension cable like Daniel did. That was a challenge as well, since 3.0 header pins are super delicate, and getting a flexible cable secured onto those is tricky. Luckily my GPU didn't require any power connections.

This system would be much easier to work with if the hard drive was mounted directly under the DVD drive, and they got rid of that metal panel on the right.
