The Yankees made the right call in bringing Gerrit Cole back for this game. On a night where the team could only score 2 runs, Cole and the rest of the pitching staff made sure that was all they'd need

In the Angels, when the offense is good, the peachers are killed. When the pitcher is doing well, the offense is useless ... Cishek always feels like pitching today. And I'm always skeptical of Maddon's relieving the pitcher. It's a very regrettable team. Young players like Sandoval, Warren, Adele, and Marsh have grown up, and the Angels have monsters Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani. I believe they will show us the dreams of the World Series before the end of their good career. Go Angels!

Proud of my Angels, they are missing a big part of the team right now with Rendon and Trout not playing. Been a tough year but they can hang with the best of them. I hope the Yankees take the ALCS

Cole looked great his first game back from the Covid IL. Ohtani kept at bay with 0-4 and 2 k. On to the Boston double header/series where we can make some serious ground and even pull ahead for a Wild Card spot. What a difference a month and a half makes.

Whenever Cole is on the mound, be scared. That dude, with his bad games at times, can ROCK a lineup.

Whenever Stanton comes up when runners on base, you can book it that it'll be a strikeout. Better than a double play though.

NYY have have been playing well as of lately especially in the month of August. Have to give credit where credit is due especially that Field Of Dreams series. I'm so glad they didn't always Othani is have a great game where ESPN and the fans would have talked about it for months. Cole shut him down and we got the most important stat which is the W. GO YANKEES
