My 4 BEST RV hacks & upgrades I wish someone told me about when I bought my RV. After RV Camping for 1 1/2 years these are my favorite RV mods I have made. These simple RV upgrade ideas are perfect modifications for the DIY (do it yourselfers) that make RV camping life more comfortable, safer, easier, enjoyable and just better.

We just locked our keys inside the camper on our last time out. A keyless entry is on our list of spring projects. One of my husband's favorite mods is the fishing pole rack we installed in the ceiling. Now he always knows where they are and never worry about them getting broken or stolen. We have a fifth wheel so ceilings are high enough to walk under the rods. Also, even though we have shower doors, I always use a shower curtain so I never have to clean the glass.

Hey Randi - Great hacks for the LG Max. We bought our LGM December 2017 and we LOVE our little trailer. My favorite hack for our max (Andi Panda) was to fix the wobbly table. We found that if one of us was unfortunate enough to be eating soup or writing when the other entered or left the booth a mess was the result. My husband added a 1"X 1" piece of maple (finished to match the cabinetry) the width of the table, just under the lid to the TV lift, and under where the table rests when open. Problem solved! All great mods and upgrades, Randi! Love that keyless entry (and I would imagine since you guys camp in colder weather, you don't have to worry about breaking off a key in a frozen lock, lol!) I noticed in your video, you don't have any carpet on that entry step...you know, that was one of the first things I picked up for our Max - I just KNEW sometime it would be slick and I would bust my butt coming out of the trailer...I guess 'know your weakness' would prevail here, right? 😂 Stay safe and happy travels, my friend! ~💜

Our favorite mods are the new mattress and the shelves I put up over the bed and dining area. I am still interested in the keyless entry. Maybe next year...
