Learn the signature riffs and patterns of Dimebag Darrell, founding member of Pantera and Damageplan.

Special DVD features include:
• Two extensive "Lost Lessons" taught by Dimebag himself
• Interview with Dime's wife Rita Haney
• A "Dime Tribute" performance featuring Nick Bowcott
• And much more!

This long-awaited DVD tribute to the godfather of modern metal is finally here. Based on Dime's best-selling instructional book, Riffer Madness, this DVD is hosted by Dime's co-writer, good friend, and protege, metal maestro Nick Bowcott. It features long lost one-on-one special footage of Dime teaching some of his most classic licks. Nick Bowcott helps pass Dime's torch to the next generation. He takes 97 of Dime's critical riffs and patterns and uses them as a jumping-off point to help young guitarists play their favorite guitar parts and, more importantly, understand the creativity, attitude, feeling, and intention underlying each pattern. Nick also covers killer rhythm guitar, power grooves and pick squeals, psychotic syncopation, holes of silence, chromatics, diabolical dyads, and much more! The DVD includes printable PDF TAB, an exclusive interview with Dime's wife, Rita Haney, and two long lost lessons filmed by Dime.

"Whether you are a beginner or technically advanced in metal guitar playing, or even consider yourself a Pantera guitar expert, there is something to learn for everyone here. This release is highly recommended."

Why didn't he use the DEAN in the background???

It has to be D standard because then when you play the inverted power chord you need the 5th of the chord on the lowest string. Weezer used them loads actually.

how he made a fuss about playing it like dime does and then he's "i'm broken" is different?

All that remains plays in d standard. Everyone thinks drop d bc of the avenged sevenfold cover which they play in drop d

Stopped watching one minute in out of a five minute video. If you're going to make a clickbaity, boasty title like "The RIGHT way" on a Pantera song, at least play it correctly. This guy's not even close. Nice try, but please, stop.

That's not bad EQ. That's just awful tone. It sounds like the amps no cranked loud enough, or the pre-gain is on 2... Or he's using the neck pickup...
