Hello! I'm Travis. My journey with this song began when my niece Maddie expressed her fondness for it, and one day, we decided to sing it together over Zoom while she was feeling a bit down. After our conversation, I was inspired to learn the entire song. With some practice, I managed memorize the song and create a version that suits my voice. I must mention that I’m quite new to singing, but I’m enjoying the journey and discovering more each day.

The next step was to film a video, which meant I needed that orange sun mentioned in the song. One morning, I rose early at my cozy cabin on the Tug Hill Plateau and was greeted by the sky transitioning to a lovely orange hue. I quickly grabbed my camera and tripod, got into position, and was ready to capture the moment. For creative perposes and song timing, this video displays a slowed down version of the sun rising.

Recording the song was pretty straightforward. I set up in my bedroom with a small speaker, a microphone, my guitar, and used my phone to capture the audio. Nothing fancy. Perhaps in the future I will improve and make another video.
