3 killed, 1 injured in Westchase crash

A deadly crash in Westchase is being investigated by the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said three people were killed and one other person was sent to the hospital.
The crash happened around 5 a.m. Deputies say a silver Chevy Malibu traveling northbound on Sheldon Road ran a red light and was struck on the left back side by a white Nissan Altima traveling eastbound on West Linebaugh Avenue.
The impact caused the Malibu to lose control and collide with a pole. All three people inside were ejected from the car and died at the scene.
The driver of the Altima was taken to St. Joseph's Hosptial with serious injuries.
