There’s already a documentary about this on YouTube called The Boy Band Con. I was shocked to find out that the Backstreet Boys performed in middle and high schools across the country for promo because, at the time, teen pop acts were still doing mall tours.

You know you’re a terrible person if your own attorney sues you.

"Transcon has been compensated". Truer words.
I despise the idea that artists should just accept whatever crumbs they're given by the people who "made" them. These guys made Perleman a millionaire many times over, working 19 hour days 7 days a week for months on end. And he gave them $10, 000 each. And they're supposed to kiss his ring?

It’s sad to be someone who grew up in that era and to find out about all this shady stuff years after the fact. First Quiet On Set and now this. I feel bad for those who were hurt. That’s why precautions need to be taken when adults are in a work environment with young people. 🙈

He “allegedly” abused boys? No. He abused them. There’s the Lance Bass produced documentary that talks about it. There are YouTubers who dove deep into Pearlman’s history and found out he’s get teenage boys drunk and abuse them. Netflix didn’t go there because it wasn’t the focus of their documentary series. But what he did to this boys was horrendous

Lance's documentary The Boyband Con has a little more details about Lou's behavior with the various members of the bands he was representing and the*NSYNC lawsuit

I watched the Boy Band Con on here, and learning the N’Sync guys got a mere 10, 000 a piece for a years worth of constant rehearsing, recording, touring, and concert specials while Perlman raked in millions is insane.

There is another doc about this. The most disturbing part is when they asked the different artists about Lou’s questionable behavior. They recounted very pervy behavior.
What was heartbreaking is when they asked Aaron Carter about it.
His response, ”HE DID NOTHING TO ME!!!”(that wasn’t the question)

I wish that there could've been a boxing match, between Lou Pearlman, and Dan Schneider. They're basically the same dude. Who do you think would've won?

I remember watching the "making the band" ie. Otown. I also remember when Otown were having difficulties with Lou and money. They separated from Lou and started to work under a sub-label with two young guys. They were quite happy until their accounts were freezed by Trans Con. and couldn't use their credit cards. Lol. I wish they would have added that into this documentary.

After Lou Pearlman’s conman scheme blew up, the investors tried to go after him to get their money back but there was none. Pearlman kept the majority of the money to himself.

So then, where did the missing money go? What did Pearlman spend all the money on?
