On the looks, it's seems like you sit more in the bike instead of on the bike which to me would be a more secure ride thru the twisties. This, along with the tech and brakes, it's def gonna get some buyers.

In the markets where they still sell the R1 and R1M the updated bike gets the Brembo brake package and updated aero package that includes winglets

I got the new MT09 SP this summer and its a fantastic bike which pretty much the same as this R9 engine/tech wise.

The exhaust is the only thing letting the bike down looks like it's being fabricated by an apprentice in a back street fab shop and I nearly forgot about the electrical tape wrapped around the cables near the yoke.

You said the engine is the r7/mt07 engine, but it's in fact the mt09 engine instead.

I liked the design on this, perfect for street style riding.
Cons: the tail section looks a little off. Again you can see straight through the engine section makes it look more like a 400cc bike 😂

Corrections: The rider triangle is better than R1 here also it is the same engine as MT-09 (slightly tuned) not MT-07!

Jaret, I'm going to suggest that the tail on the R9, sincee it is supposed to be a track/racing bike, is narrower for less drag, better aero.

I’m not a fan of the front end, something about the headlight, just looks weird, it looks like a hammer head shark from the front.
