GoPro Anamorphic Lens | Cinematic Camping Escape

Показать описание
Shot 100% on the GoPro HERO13 and the Anamorphic Lens Mod.
*PLEASE NOTE*
This was all shot on an early pre-production prototype of the Anamorphic lens, with considerably blurrier optical glass than what's available in the production units today. While some blurring in the corners is expected, the blurring you may see across other parts of the frame have been addressed.
**
Unlike all other Anamorphic lenses previously available, the HERO13 de-squeezes the video directly on-camera, real-time. This means preview, recording, and playback are all ready to go in a super-wide 21:9 aspect ratio, without any post-work required. It also has digital stabilization built in. Using the anamorphic lens can provide an image that has a much wider FOV than the traditional GoPro lens, without the fisheye look.
@BenjaminOrtega and I took the HERO13 and the Anamorphic lens camping, biking, and adventuring for a weekend of fun in California.
I prefer to shoot most of my anamorphic content while the camera is flat and level, to minimize distortion and maximize the wide FOV effect . For that reason, much of this video was shot with a long pole and a small tripod at the base.
You can find my favorite tripod, for use with the GoPro extension pole here:
I also like to have a ball-head on top so I can level the pole on an uneven surface:
This was all shot with GP-Log and graded with Davinci Resolve.
Music: Epidemic Sound
