Camaro SS 1LE: Hot Laps at Thunderhill 3 Mile East Cyclone

CFRA Group A (advanced open passing -- although the track was very empty in this session!)

Car is bone stock except for Moreno Motorsports camber plates and Motul RBF600 DOT4 brake fluid.

- Brand new set of Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3 tires, 285/30/20 front, 305/30/20 rear
- Front camber at -3.4deg per side
- Front caster at +7.5deg per side
- Front toe out -0.08deg per side
- Rear camber maxed at -1.7deg per side
- Rear toe in +0.04deg per side

Hot tire pressures are 31 psi front, 32 psi rear. This is the last session of the day in sunny 80F weather.

Car felt very neutral. I think I can gain a couple seconds by working on my corner entries and carrying more speed there.

Thanks for posting this. I did my first track day ever today and was able to do a 2:09 thanks to this video helping me learn lines, brake points, gear choices, etc. I have a 19 SS 1LE, bone stock except for RBF 600.

Hey man ima run this track in a month and I was wondering if you think the track alignment for 2017 Camaro ss m6 (not the 1le) is worth it. Is -2.0 in the front okay and 1.5 in the rear. I’m still a beginner or should I just leave it stock.
