I think Micah genuinely liked Arthur and wanted to be good friends with him. But Micah was too hot headed and impulsive which Arthur didn’t like. And Micah didn’t really care about anyone in the gang. Like when Sean gets shot, bill and Arthur process what’s going on and stay in shock for a couple of seconds and Micah just goes to fighting mode in like one second since he didn’t care about Sean as much as Arthur, Bill and the others. He even starts cracking jokes after the Rhodes shoutout while Arthur and Bill mourn for Sean. And he talks shit about Hosea in Guarma after the failed robbery in saint denis saying that he was too old or that his time came. And lastly, ratting them all out for whatever deal or bribe the Pinkertons made with him while also tearing the gang apart in the final chapter. Even though Javier and Bill were with Dutch when the gang got divided, they still tried to encourage and get everyone back together by saying they need to support Dutch and how they should stick together. I never expected the antagonist of rdr2 to be a member of the same gang you are in. Micah Bell was a really good well written villain
