Yes he is getting boosted. Duoing with a multi-season diamond player that is shitting on bronze players is boosting. Jungle is piss easy when you have a fizz dropping high kda, cs diff, and assassinating everyone on the map.

the thing is… techincally it is boosting. You play with a player who was diamond a couple of seasons plus if you get a higher ranked premate to win a lane for you, it doesnt matter if they play better or worse. As a jungler you dont have to worry about 3 lanes anymore.
On the other hand, duoing to reach a certain rank by playing with friends who are 1 or maybe 2 ranks above you wouldnt qualify for me as boosting, but diamond bronze is a big jump
