Both Smith and Tate confirm today that they’ll remain at OSU. Good time to be a Buckeye

Good luck taking away a WR from the NFL's WR factory.

The only reason any of them would transfer would be to follow Brian Hartline if he got an HC gig somewhere.

Miami offered millions right before he signed with Ohio State last year.

It’s tampering to make an NIL offer to a player that’s in not in the portal.

I think I heard Saban say it first, “If you pay a player to come to your school, someone else will pay them more to leave”.

Like it or not, college football will never be the same.

Question is how do you get an “offer” without already being in the portal? Tampering needs to be punished. Or just make it legal. Can’t keep penalizing teams who try to play by the rules because there are clearly schools who do not.

Boosters paying kids an insane amount of money is not what NIL should be

Saban: "If they can pay players too, I'm out."

As long as this roster stays intact, Carnel Tate is going to have a monster season next year. When the plays feature him as the 1st or 2nd read his QB won’t be able to even miss him when he’s wide open.

He’s clever enough to stay at osu and get 30mil in 2 years, he’ll get money to stay at osu too. But this will happen more and more often to tempt elite talent unless there’s a cap

I remember years ago when my friend told me he preferred college football to the NFL because all pros were just mercenaries chasing cash w/ no loyalty. lol

People seem to forget that he was offered way more than 4 1/2 million dollars when he came to Ohio State and he still came to Ohio State

Somebody should be investigated and If found that this really happened, should face penalties. Poaching will increase if nothing is ever done.

ya this was bound to happen if a #1 draft pick emerged as a true freshman
