The fact that Trump entered into negotiations and then an agreement with the Taliban, without even inviting the Afghan government to the table, undercut the power and legitimacy of the government. The citizenry, including those in the national armed services and police, could plainly see that its own government was being ignored, a helpless bystander in critical discussions about the country's future. After we had cut the legs out from under this government and rendered it a paper tiger, it is no wonder that when those serving in the Afghan army and police were asked to fight, most said,  "No, thanks."

Mullah Baradar, one of the cofounders of the Taliban, was released from a Pakistani prison in 2018 after then-POTUS Trump made the request as a part of peace talks. And it was Trump who told Americans the Taliban could be trusted, going so far as to agree to a May, 2021 full troop withdrawal, ... Even invited them to Camp David. On Nov. 17, 2020, Trump ordered the 4, 500-strong American force reduced to 2, 500! And he was President 4 yrs. What happened to his peace negotiations?

Americans need to wake-up and see this for what it is. **Accountability** This isn't about right or left or Democrat or Republican. We need to hold all politicians accountable period. For decades both parties have failed the American people. Say what you will about President Trump, but he put America first by words and actions. The Democrats and this president
and vice -president have gone beyond failure to dereliction of duty and treason.Those heros who died today deserve better from those in charge.
