One of the best bass sounds that I‘ve heard in a long time. Excellent. I hope it sells out fast so that they will continue to build and distribute worldwide then 🙏

Always happy when you have Johann Bonitz doing your demos.

I got this a couple months ago and let me say... it's one of the best pedals I've ever had. The amp sim is so incredibly warm and tightens up your sound, the drive is practical at every setting, and the compressor is subtle but musical. My only issue is how tall the enclosure is. If you have a Pedaltrain Jr (I do) or any slanted pedalboard, it likely won't fit in your case if it's on the top of your board, which means you have to put it on the bottom, but then the DI outs are being obstructed by other pedals on your board! Also the huge rubber feet are making it that much taller. I plan to find some replacement flat screws and get rid of the rubber feet so the pdal can sit flat on my board.

I’m very glad you demoed this with a p bass and pick. I was definitely expecting some bass in some style that isn’t the target audience for the pedal.

The bass player is great and reminds me of a young Joey Ramone, nice pedal too!

Carol Kaye tones? Why yes, that sounds great!

I enjoyed the demo. However in future videos it would help if picked bass wasn't the only playing style used. I play fingerstyle and slap, so I have no sense of how this pedal would sound if I played through it.

That and the matching Chorus/Vibrato would be a complete pedal board for me, pity that would come to $800 :(

I've been considering getting one of these...

really amazing little pedal, given I like their selection of Drives and Preamps I've been waiting for a good JHS Bass pedal, unfortunately it's a bit out of my price range and we don't have sweetwater here :) For what you're getting it's worth the money though.

Not sure if the price is because of The Beach Boys logo or the JHS logo lol. Honestly tho, sounds good but I’ll stick with the tried and true Sansamp.

Having a hard time deciding between this and the Tone Hammer V2.

@basstheworldofficial have you tried it with the Red Muck ? I’m wondering if the Red Muck would need to go first in the chain.

I heard from a trusted source (Jokermen Podcast) that this Beach Boys doc (not the Beach Boys of course!) is crap, but this pedal seems fantastic!!

So is the EQ basically always engaged the moment you plug it in?
