Smart Battery Case for iPhone 6s review

The Smart Battery Case for iPhone 6s (and iPhone 6) is basically a battery pack attached to a silicone case with a fully featured Lightning pass-through at the bottom.

That makes for an unsightly bump and a headphone cutout that requires an adapter for many popular headphones, but it also makes for minimal bulk, negligible antenna interference, and iOS integration no other case can match.

I own other 3rd party external battery cases for my iPhone 6 and this one by Apple is the best. I've been using for about a month now and my battery last me the entire day. I work outdoors and since owning this case, it adds protection, feels great in the hand. Extremely easy to put on and take off. Also love the fact it integrates with IOS9 for battery notification both case/iPhone battery.

They need to make one for the plus too. I don't need it everyday but I think it would be nice to have. And let's stop the hate it don't look that bad. I would rather have this than a big ass mophie with a stupid micro cord to go with it. And you don't even have to turn this one on or do anything it just works.

C'mon Rene. We're not asking that you hate on it, but the draw backs of design along with the bigger problem of only getting an 1800+ MAH batter for $99 when you can get a far better designed case with a 2700 MAH battery from Mophie or other manufacturers is just a glaring omission that make you come off as a shill for Apple. Not saying you are, but perception is reality.

It's incredible how Rene can ignore how ugly this is but at the same time complain so much about other company's design.

I want someone who criticizes things that are obviously bad when I watch or read reviews. Not just a fanboy.

Clearly the case is pretty great and id probably buy it but it looks awful!

This video just feels like a product video to highlight the good things.

Please be a bit less Apple fanboy in the future. Tell us about all the awesome stuff but never forget the bad =)

I'm sure it is of good quality and will work well with iPhone. But I have to say, it is ugly. I wouldn't spend $99 on such a thing. I would spend half of the money and buy a Maxboost case just like I did. And get a free tempered glass screen protector from their VIPU program. That is perfect combination for me.
