Roland Modella GRBL Conversion - Part 1 (it lives again)

The Roland MDX-20 machine is a good, solid engraving/milling machine. Unfortunately the main control board failed a couple of years ago and replacement boards are very hard to find and very expensive. Having a need for the machine to make the front and rear panels for the CleaveTech Power Supplies, it was time to update the control system with new electronics.

An Arduino based GRBL controller is now in place and controls the 3 axis stepper motors and spindle. Next up is the fitting of limit switches for homing and safety along with the final tidy up of wiring.

that's a great job! I'm a STEM teacher and I would like to use this old machine for PCB, and the Z0 is painful and Roland software are awful, but with this idea we can use Kicad + Flatcam + Candle. Could you please help with cable connection?
For Z mototr, it seems to be usual colors for stepper motor, but for the other I don't have information.

My computer is on in inverter. But machine all is from suplie current. When suplie current is cut and job stop through relay. & when power is come then relay turn on and start job.
But but sometime when suplie current is come then comport disconnect some time. But what is best solution. I think I need soft statar for suplie current. Machine is ok. Problem only this

My grbl 5 x mega edge is not setup machine
When I press homing it goes home where I decided my setting is $23=0
But when take to center on my workpiece to start the job
I starts probing but it's gose in upwords direction where homing gose but my job is below
How i setup and run my first job in cnc
Did I have to configure machine
My homing settings is upword right corner
But in software it shows right corner but in downward direction it goes below the bed in software
When I upload gcode it goes upwords but in actual machine it has to go downworda to make things worked
