The rhythm, smoothly slowing down at the end, the dynamics, as well as the slightly out-of-tune piano giving it a special, distant sound, as if playing on the edge of memory... I haven’t seen any of this in other videos. In my opinion, this is the best piano performance of this track.

ive grown pretty desensitized to minecraft nostalgia (basically meaning i dont get tears in my eyes as much anymore when hearing or seeing old minecraft stuff), but this? it made me feel that again. i dont know why but something about this song on an out of tune piano is just beautiful and perfect. thank you.

The sounds of a piano that’s lost it’s tune, and yet is enjoyed by almost everyone truly brings me joy. Knowing that humans are capable of loving something simple for it being unique. And there’s a sad irony that the only way for a piano to naturally become out of tune is for it to have been neglected, for it to be forgotten and unloved for so long that it has fallen out of tune. Then one day someone sees it, and decides they want to play it, they do not mind that this poor old piano may not sound as crisp as a new and recently tuned one, they still choose to play. Such a beautiful sentiment to remember
