The opening verse hits me deep. I've resented God for getting a taste of my dreams, only to have it ripped away. I've tried to pursue those dreams in the last 10 years and I can't even get close. I know I got no one to blame but myself, but I still feel like it was just a giant trick and the only reason I got to live my dream for such a short time, was only so it would hurt this many years later.
