i usually run a narrow band de-esser with an eq, but the saturation trick is really great on Saturn for that brightness. it makes the vocal sound CRISP rather than overblown, so the sibilances and plosives and the wetness of the lips behave like they would as if someone was super close to you. love it, great video as always

Great tip! I believe there is a preset by Jaycen Joshua in Soothe called “Voice Of God” that does exactly this (the deessing…not the saturation)

Hi just use a Dynamic EQ it do-sent affect any thing and it turns down the S sounds between 5hz to 10hz its non destructive that is the best way without impacting anything thank you great video.

Love the video! Always such great content. For lunch, we always just make extra dinner and do leftovers. We tried to make different easy lunches, but leftovers have been the easiest for us. We just bring some extra Tupperware, and then it's super easy to eat while driving and no need to stop anywhere

Wow! I'm actually stunned by this one.

Usually I see people use Soothe and go too aggressive with it; mangling the vocals by making them "buzzy" in the top-end. This actually sounds really nice! I will definitely apply this technique to my upcoming mixes!!

thats neat! i use soothe aswell as an desser and after, a multiband compressor on 5k to 20k to even out the dynamics and bringing it up. gonna definitely try this approach aswell
