Okay so about that continent being only part of a big world theory, I don't know.
I don't think they added much more to this game, but they could have added every retro track to the game on other continents: it's possible! I don't think they did, but it's within the realm of possibility

I will be very happy if there’s a radio mode in free roam, or just in general. Being able to choose a song to listen to while roaming around exploring sounds like an obvious idea to implement to me

Mario Wonder's direct was 15 minutes and it showed the story, locations, powerups, characters, wonder flower gimmick, all online functionalities and the game's quality of life features. I think we'll be fine

The MK World direct is pretty much the same length as the Super Mario Bros Wonder Direct. There's still a lot they can reveal in the span of 15 minutes.

One big gimmick is the ground tricks that let you dodge items, jump onto walls, and take off-road shortcuts you couldn't otherwise. It looks really in depth, but also kinda optional so it's still approachable for beginners

Okay NOW the hype is kinda justified. Before when everyone was getting hyped immediately after launch just because "openworld oooh!"? No. Now? It's starting to be reasonable. Funny how the lamppost hopping reminded me the same mechanic in Prototype.

I think there's more to show for this game we havent seen. But at the same time, I think we've gotten a ton of footage from random YouTube channels at these hands-on events that there probably is gonna be alot of stuff folks like us that scour the internet looking for every video have already seen tomorrow. So personally keeping my expectations in check for tomorrow but still excited

I personally would like to believe the theory that the world is going to be expanded. I don't know if the World logo is enough to convince me, but they've shown us 7 cups (8 if you count the rainbow road rumors) which is less than any mario kart game since Mario Kart 64. I know they're showing a lot of different ways to play the game, but I would be disappointed if more didn't show up

I think if you're expecting some big story mode you are setting yourself up for disappointment. The game is pretty fun as is imo. Wall riding, grinding rails, ground tricks and all the new random traffic elements will make it really fun for a long time.

Why is everyone so concerned about game prices? These prices have been around all the way back to the NES. If $80 usd or $120 aud is expensive to you, don't buy it. Just stop constantly crying about it.
