🚨 NEW YORK GIANTS RELEASE DANIEL JONES 🚨

New York Giants News: The Giants have released quarterback Daniel Jones after benching him earlier this week. Giants head coach Brian Daboll and Giants GM Joe Schoen made the decision ahead of 2024 NFL Week 12 to bench jones and Make Giants QB Tommy DeVito the QB1 for the rest of the season. Jones requested his release to Giants owner and team president John Mara and was granted his release before Giants practice on Friday. DeVito will be the starting QB for the rest of the 2024 NFL Season backed up by Drew Lock, who the Giants signed in 2024 NFL Free Agency. The Giants accrue $20M in dead money by releasing Jones but this was the best move for the franchise.

Everyone with hurt feelings right now is forgetting that football like everything else, it’s a business. When you don’t perform at your job and meet expectations you get fired. DJ was never going to be the answer, he was a Dave Gettelmen mistake that we have been dealing with for the last 6 years. Let’s truly get this rebuild going, give the current GM and coach a few years to actually right this organization and see what happens. 8. Was of course never the best but was the QB of my favorite team for 6 years. During those 6 years he proved he was one of the hardest workers and was fully commited to this team.
