India officially began its two years term in UNSC for the 8th time with record highest vote of 184/192 .
The need of UNSC reform -
• Dominance of P5 nation
•less democratic structure
• No control of non permanent members over the P5
• opaque way of sanctioning and desanctioning .

Works ahead for India :-
√ transparency of sanctioning and desanctioning countries.
✓ raising voice on the issue of reform in structure
✓ Highlighting democracy, human-rights and development
✓ building cooperation between countries
✓ Raising the global issues and voice of unheard countries.

Concerns :-
✓ coffee club
✓ China's obstruction and support toward Pakistan
✓ deliberate unwillingness of P5 in reform.

Conclusion:- India's goodwill diplomacy is far ahead than china. India has a record of sending support in 50 peacekeeping missions, its willpower toward achieving SDG . Even after less economic power India shows its responsibility in combating CoVID19, commitment toward environmental responsibility even beyond developed nations.
Obstruction can cause some mere delay, but can not cover India's holy spirit of Vasudha Kutumbakam.

Very niceceeee, informative session 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 thanks to mam and other guest ( speaker)🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

The UNSC has five permanent members, namely China,  Russia,  France, the UK and the US. Since the presidency of the UNSC is held by each of the members in turn for one month, India will preside over the council as UNSC President in August 2021 and again in 2022

unsc is prestigious institute, it is intergovernmental institute where almost every country participate to reach final decision on any resolutions. but somewhere need structural change in unsc because massive power or to change any resolutions with the help of veto power, only in the hand of p5 countries , current scenario where world is facing covid -19, it need comprehensive coordination among p5 countries but having internal conflict which deteriorate the principal of multilateralism and divert the issue of covid, environment, terrorism, digital money. now the role of india has begun, now india is non permanent member of unsc for two years, last time in 2011-2012, this time india became 8 th time the non permanent member, with the agenda of N. O. R. M. S , India will raise voice against terrorism, environment issue, and to expand the permanent member of unsc, so everyone get chance to be have veto power. we also part of g 4 countries who support each other to be part of permanent member of unsc, but somewhere some group like coffee club who oppose the expansion of unsc which led by Pakistan, mainly to obstruct india.

India begins unsc tenure, . India as a world largest democracy, set to begin it's non permanent member term of unsc for 2year. India has many priorities like counter terrorism, become a permanent member of unsc, through its reform. And transparency of delisting of unsc committee.on counter terrorism, India has reportedly said in the past that terrorism is dangerous for humity in the planet and we all together fight against terrorism and elemenate terrorism .it also destroying peace and tranquility . Become a permanent member of unsc, India as a world largest democracy and fifths largest economy of the world, more than 60% medicine manufacturer of the world, this is the need of the hour that India will become unsc permanent member also.india has got 164 vote out of 192 member unsc. That shows India must become a permanent member. In the time of covid 19 pandemic India has supported many poor condition through its medicine to medical staff and send medicine to almost 150 poor countries and also helped financially. Only reform of unsc will help to decision making process transparent and lucid. as our pm said that this is not the same time when unsc EST 1945, this is 21st century, different times, without India candidature to unsc like sth missing . India has largest contributor of un peacekeeping mission. Time has come India must become a permanent member of unsc. Thanks rstv 🙏👍
