I could not belief AMCA is converting from stealthy mode to disaster mode😂

Don't worry; our government has signed agreements with neighbors. We won't engage in any conflict until we procure 5-7 squadrons of each: AMCA, Tejas Mk2, TEDBF, Prachand. It's a sad reality; the full majority government also struggles to make quick decisions due to outdated bureaucracy policies. Someone, please tell them in R&D; we may lose money, the project may fail, but sitting on files won't help our national security and defense forces. We have already burned so much money (billions of dollars) on government companies like BSNL and Air India. Why can't we spend a little money and invest in R&D, even if project fails ?

Not just AMCA but the drone programs in India are also unimpressive considering what a country like Iran (under heavy sanctions) can develop. The whole babu system of India is only capable of producing disasters with some outliers like the missile program.

GOI has too high hopes from the big private players. In reality they are almost zero in innovation and originality. They would much rather earn profits from screwdrivergiri.

We need someone like Nitin Gadkari as defence minister.

Our private sector is not ready to take such an advanced weapon system. Indian defence private sector just isn't mature enough to build a fifth gen. May be in the next five to ten years, they'll be there.

Before folks start accusing public sector companies like HAL, they better know that HAL is already manufacturing Titanium based parts for AMCA prototype (based on current specs) while private sector firms are just sitting ducks hoping someone will do all the heavy lifting for them while they focus on booking their profits. Private firms in India do not have the capability to produce such a complex machine on their own, they need to start with parts. HAL is the only hope for our 5th gen ambitions right now.

अब हमको इसका एक ही उपाय दिख रहा है:
"आप बन जाओ रक्षा मंत्री या फिर उनका secretary"😂

Looks like AMCA will end up like Kaveri and finally we will import.

I think 2034-35 will be the prototype year for amca mk1, mass production in 2036-37.
Mk2 which will be the true 5th gen or 5.5th gen will be ready not before than 2040, that too if the government allocates required funds in time.

AMCA has an internal payliad capacity of only 2000 kg. with stealth detection tech being available to more & more countries , why not focus on twin engine semi stealth fightes like TEDBF or Twin Kaveri based fighter .
kaveri as of TODAY has the same specifications as M-88 of Safran being used in Dassault Rafale.

India's govermental organisations need a huge makeover. The reason for inefficient project management is our current structures inefficiency and majorly its lack of transparency.
In my opinion private companies will not make the situation any better as we have seen in USA the large numbers of defence companies they had all went away or got merged into monopolies.
Hence india needs to do 2 things make our bureaucracy more efficient and actually have penalities for delays. Second would be maintain PSUs for many aspects whilst also making them a good fallback. Also while at the same time we make sure companies in the private sector dont become monopolies or even duopolies and maintain a vibrant manufacturing and Rd scene. The next few years for india is crucial as it will make or break this land.

DRDO's design phase has been finalised only recently as has been put forward by Chief Bhadauria . Without final design phase, the rfp for building the prototype cannot be floated for any private player to attend.

From the start of the project itself ADA was to develop the design, not any private entity.

To keep the tech from becoming commercial or being sabotaged- the entities to join the project has to fund ADA and develop the prototype at HAL facilities. While parts and components of the jet would be made at facilities owned by various investors - the assembly would occur at HAL.

This is the only made in Bharat 5th gen fighter jet and has no other competition - so different private entities wont be submitting different designs for the project and therefore fears of getting rejected is invalid as has been put forward in the video.

Why would HAL give any support for using its facility to the Private sector.

Private sector sirf profit k liye hota hai, jahan usse profit nhi dikhta, wahaan wo invest nhi krti. Isiliye aj 2024 me bhi India k kuchh parts me sirf BSNL ka network or INDIAN POST k ilwaya koi courier service nhi hai, SBI k alawa koi bank ya ATM nhi hai

abhi ki situation ko dekh ke lagta hai ke funds ki kami aur govt ki negligence ki wajha se AMCA ek fail project sabit hone ja raha hai.🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Now what I feel is, AMCA first flight will not happen even after 4.5 years. This may go more delay, and then in emergency option India might acquire 5th generation fighters from Russia.(that's the only possibility which make sense). Now let see if are capable to see AMCA in our time or in our childrens time. After seeing how fast china is developing themselves, if still India go with such phase of development then it's better to say, "kuch nahi hoga India ka"
