*Wife:* I bought some stuff from Victoria's Secret. Wanna see me try it on?
*Husband:* Nah, I'm good, babe...
*Wife:* Really? What's gotten into you?
*Husband:* I just watched a game between Stockfish and Kovisto. _(lights cigarette)_ It was life-altering.

I showed this to my friends in the bar and the library. The friends from the library went to the bar and the friends from the bar went to the library.

And it was on move 77 that Koivisto experienced a circuit overload

After this game Stockfish was reported to have said "B4 best by test".

It's genuinely insane to me how even in the thumbnail position Koivisto is still managing to find defensive ideas in the position, if I got that position in a chess game I think I'd just curl up into a ball and start crying

Seeing “I warned you…” in my notifications was so ominous.

I also had this position many many times with white in the Evans Gambit, nice to see Stockfish continue it!

The build up to the game truly stood!! My life will not be the same.
Also, stockfish listened to Antonio and played the Evans Gambit!

Nice to see the super computers
at work but also to see you in your element talking about the Evans. In my opinion, choice of opening is all about what gives you the type of game you like and, no less important, the type of game which doesn't attract your opponent. All the best.

Both bishops, both rooks, and the queeen...ALL pointing at the black King! The ultimate in piling on. Even the "Alekhine's Gun" formation was too weak for Stockfish's liking, preferring a more sophisticated crossfire in his orchestration of pieces. And notice how despite the absolute crushing position Koivisto was having to defend against, it had no problem finding defensive resources that would be immediately winning for it, were it going up against a mortal opponent. Amazing moves.

Bishop pair from hell? No, more like bishop pair from a dystopian apocalyptic cyber future.

1:00 I can certainly back this statement. Exactly a year ago I searched "best chess games ever" on YouTube and specifically your video of the evergreen game came up and ever since then I became obsessed with chess, so I just wanted to express my gratitude to you and your channel. Thanks Antonio ❤
